The Tree
Mangoes ripening in the Bangalore sun. We wait for the right kind — tart, firm, just turning.
Small-batch mango pickle, hand-made by a mother whose recipe has been loved by friends and family for decades. No preservatives. No shortcuts. Just sunshine, mustard, and time.
Made in
Bangalore
Every year, when the Alphonso and Raw Totapuri mangoes arrive at the market, a small kitchen in Bangalore comes alive. Glass jars are sun-dried. Mustard is roasted. Fenugreek is measured by feel — the way it has always been done.
This is the pickle that friends and neighbors have asked for, year after year, for as long as anyone can remember. We finally decided it was time to share it beyond our family.
Mother's Gold Spice is small-batch, preservative-free, and made with the same care as the jar that sits on our own kitchen shelf.
Small batch
Every jar is hand-prepared. No factory. No assembly line.
No preservatives
The salt, oil, and sun do all the preserving — the way it should be.
Traditional recipe
Passed down, never written down. Made the way her mother taught her.
Every jar starts in our own backyard. No factory in between.

Picked by hand, one at a time, with a long fruit-picker. No mechanical shaking, no bruising.
A pan full of just-picked mangoes, sorted by hand. Only the best ones make it to the next step.
Cut and laid out to dry in the open sun. No ovens, no preservatives — the way her mother taught her.
Roasted and ground fresh in small batches. This is where the flavor lives.
Tart raw mango, slow-cooked in mustard oil with a blend of roasted spices — mustard, fenugreek, garlic, red chili. Bold, deeply aromatic, and made to last on your shelf without a single preservative.
